For the second year in a row, the families and staff of The Goddard School in Towson, MD (at 807 Gleneagles Court in Towson, MD 21286 ) collected food donations during their “Souper” Bowl challenge to benefit our church’s Emergency Food Pantry. Center Owner Chuck Sabia set a target of 300 canned goods this year –with a pie-in-his-face prize if the school reached its goal. Well…..they collected 547 canned goods and other nonperishable foods items. Now, students are looking forward to putting their pie-throwing arms to use just like last year! Many thanks to Chuck and Jocelyn Sabia and the staff and families of The Goddard School in Towson for this unexpected, gracious gift that helps feed local neighbors in need.
